Generating Referrals From People You Don’t Know

As your profile as an expert in your field grows, you can expect to receive referrals from people you don’t know and who only know you by reputation.

Maybe they heard satisfied clients singing your praises, or perhaps they follow your blog or social media posts. It’s also possible as a business celebrity, you have caught their attention and attracted their interest and respect.

Apart from ensuring that your public communications effectively showcase your best stuff, there is little you can do to pro-actively generate referrals from people you don’t know.

Continue to do what you do best,  and let your reputation as an expert take care of the rest.
