Social media management is about:

  • selecting the right social media for your communications
  • selecting the right person to write content
  • selecting the right person to post content and monitor comments

Once you understand the relative advantages and disadvantages of key social media marketing applications, you can choose the right social media for you. You will also develop your social media management strategy that will best achieve your marketing goals.

In step 4, you identified five reasons for starting social media marketing.

Go back to these reasons and prioritize them based on the contribution each will make to achieving your overall marketing and business goals.

The reason that will make the biggest contribution to your goals will have priority #1.

On the other hand the reason that will make the least contribution will be #5.

Once you have settled these priorities, complete the following table. Once completed, this table will help you effectively manage your social media marketing.

The easiest way to complete this table is to print a copy of this page and then answer the questions on your printed copy.
