About Me

By way of quick introduction, I have delivered professional services for more than 40 years, serving clients as a lawyer, consultant and coach.
Despite the apparent differences in these roles, my approach has always been more facilitative than authoritative.
Instead of telling clients what actions they should or shouldn’t be taking, I tried to help them understand their current situation in order to make the most appropriate decisions to achieve their desired results.

A strong advocate of experience being the best teacher, whenever possible, I tried to learn what successful professionals did to generate more new business…and then modified these best practices into my own approach to generating new business.
As passionate about helping others learn as I am about his own lifelong learning activities, it is not in the least bit surprising that I love sharing my lessons learned with others.
From my first book in 1993 until the present time, I have written and published about 30 hard-copy books, short eBooks and video courses. Until I came up with that number, I had no idea that I was that verbose or even that I had that much to say.
While much of that content is best left locked up in my archives, some of it has happily withstood the test of time.
Obviously, whatever content is still helpful would better in the hands of people who can use it than hidden away in my archives.
With the intention of helping self-employed professionals generate more new business for their service businesses, I have unarchived what I consider to be of most value and usefulness.
In making these resources available, my hope is that visitors like you will find at least one resource that will help you succeed in your professional service business.
